The Willow in the WIndies – A Special Double-Bill

28th August 2015

The Caribbean cricket podcast

Special Edition (Part 1 & 2)  – A Stroll Down Memory Lane with Reds Perreira

Welcome to this special double-edition of The Willow in the WIndies.

Inspired by a recent article in the Jamaica Gleaner by Tony Becca (which you can read here), that recalled a galaxy of West Indian greats who never quite made it to the international stage, Reds recalls those players Tony identified, and one or two others, and shared his memories and impressions of those men.

He also reflected upon the great Australian opener, Arthur Morris who died this week aged 93; and Guyana and West Indies’ middle-order batsman, Joe Solomon, who was 85 last Wednesday.
