‘Tears of Joy and Disappointment as Kohli’s Genius Fails to Win it Single-Handedly for India’ – my match analysis of WIndies v India for First Post

The 2016 ICC World T20 tournament

For First Post during the T20 World Cup I am covering and reporting on the West Indies.

Darren Sammy’s West Indies broke several million India hearts.

WIndies overcame the overwhelming favourites and hosts in Mumbai to reach the World T20 final on Sunday. Virat Kohli had appeared to have done enough for his Indian team to triumph – but Lendl Simmons, playing his first game of the tournament, was the match-winner – with more than a little bit of luck on his side.

It was a great day for the Caribbean, with the WIndies women team also progressing to their final, with a defeat of a previously unbeaten New Zealand team.

Role on Sunday.

You can read my match analysis piece here.

And there are several more articles regarding the tournament, and features on many of the other sides here.
