Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack

Last week my good friend Dennis Freedman of Can’t Bowl Can’t Throw fame wrote an article for First Post taking a swipe at English cricket’s Bible.

The whole of England probably hasn’t felt as sullied by an Australian since former Prime Minister Paul Keating wrapped his arm around Her Majesty the Queen.

You can read my response to Dennis’ piece on the pages of First Post here.

When the Sawdust Settles – match reviews

The 2016 ICC World T20 tournament

For First Post during the T20 World Cup I will be covering and reporting on the West Indies.

On Wednesday, WIndies overcame England in their opening game of the tournament – and their success was built around the latest whirlwind century by the phenomenal Chris Gayle.

If the other teams in the competition are to stop West Indies winning it, then they must first stop Gayle.

You can read my piece here.

And there are several more articles regarding the tournament, and features on many of the other sides here.

The 2016 ICC World T20 tournament

For First Post during the T20 World Cup I will be covering and reporting on the West Indies.

Earlier this week their website published my preview of the competition from the Caribbean perspective, in which I looked at WIndies’ prospects.

Since writing, T&T’s Lendl Simmons has also withdrawn from the WI squad, to be replaced by fellow-countryman, Evan Lewis.

You can read my piece here.
